SUPERHERO!!!

Well, I have to start this time with a cheer.  A statement of amazement actually.  We have all experienced some form of what I'm about to celebrate.  Those tiny moments where we KNOW, we just know that what has just happened was Divine.  An event, something someone else says,  even a song or a tv or radio program can be directly speaking to us, sent by heavenly messenger .
I say this next part certainy not as a "fishing" expedition.  As you know, I kind of put myself all out there, for anyone to see.  So, I have to tell you that writing this blog is not some sort of social experiment, or a platform to promote myself.  I don't want to be a big blogger or anything like that.  Honestly, I wouldn't be even doing this if I had a choice. But it isn't a choice.....not now, not really.  I suppose I could stop, but I have learned the hard way that not following what you are pretty confident is the will of God is like asking for a flood right after you get the mess cleaned up from the last one.  So no thanks.  Consequently, sometimes I get overwhelmed with something as simple as writing this though.  That was my feeling last week.  Don't know what sat it off, don't know why last week, don't have a clue.  I had messaged a friend about it, but luckily she was not available to get back with me .  I say luckily, because had I talked with her I might have missed the love messages from our Creator.  Didn't have a return address stating "Heaven" on them, no real way to prove it at all.  But I know that I received 5 love letters from Him as surely as I know my name.  Confirmation that I had to keep it up.  His validation that. I was doing this for Him.  Never ceases to amaze me.  So......I feel better, did will continue to write these words until He tells me to stop.
I promised some comments about the book "Unbroken" by Laura Hillenbrand.  She is the author of "Seabiscuit", a book I didn't read but heard about.  "Unbroken" is the true story of Louie Zamperini, an Olympic runner and survivor of World War 2.  The book started out slow, but for some reason I kept coming back to it.  It was not until the last part of the book that I understood why I was supposed to read it.
I don't want to ruin the book for you.  If you are a reader at all, I hope you will read it.  You won't be sorry.   But for my purpose  here, I need to tell you a little about it.  Louie endured being lost at sea for 47 days only to be rescued by the Japanese.  He endured hideous things at the hands of his captors, unspeakable terror for extended periods of time. Although he did not want to be, he was a damaged man when he returned.  Daily heavy drinking, horrible nightmares of his experiences, and serious problems in his marriage were his constant companions.  He was ready to die just to stop the hell he was in. To make a long story short, Billy Graham was holding a tent campaign near Louie's home.  His wife Cynthia attended and was consequently saved.  She badgered and even lied to Louie to finally get him to go.  Twice.  And even as he started to walk out of the tent in anger, God Almighty reached down and saved him.  The amazing thing about it is that IMMEDIATELY Louie quit drinking, and even quit having the horrible dreams about his captivity.  Dreams he had every night never came back. Not once.  That's how powerful our God is.
And He's just as powerful for you and I .  No matter how big our situation is, He's got it under control.  He can handle it.  For Louie Zamparini's hell.  For yours and for mine.  All we have to do is trust Him with it. He can do anything..... He's a superhero.  The only one that's real.
